Sunday - Tuesday
Sunday:
We got to the Humphrey Terminal at MSP around 2:30, and ended up waiting until 4:40 to board our plane (the scheduled departure time was 4:10.) The plane was late in arriving from Dallas/Fort Worth, so we "suffered the consequences." We finally took off around 5:30, but the good news was that we hit a strong tailwind on the way down, and the flight only took 2 hrs and 25 minutes instead of 3hrs and 15 minutes.
It was 48* when we arrived! Chilly yes, but the air didn't feel frigid.
We got our rent-a-car with no problems (a 2007 Impala, btw.) but got a surprise when we arrived at the resort we were originally booked at. They had to evacuate one of their buildings earlier in the day, leaving us with no accomodations, so they set us up at the Sheraton Vistana Villages in Orlando (a newer 5-Star Gold Crown resort) instead. We finally got to our room around 11:30 (eastern.)

We were a little stressed when we got here, 'cause the other resort gave us the wrong directions to get here. Thankfully I brought along the Laptop and GPS software! What made it all better for me when we checked in was the FREE Wi-Fi hookup.
More updates and pics tomorrow when it's daylight out. Monday we'll be grocery shopping and hanging out at the resort (possibly visiting Ron Jon Surf Shop.) We're planning on visiting Gatorland either Monday or Tuesday.

Here are some more pics we snapped today. It's was kind of hard to snap pics while we were driving, as the traffic was jammed no matter where we went.
It got up to 69* today! Very beautiful. Not too hot, not too cold. We went grocery shopping and hit Ron Jon Surf Shop for some souvenirs and drove around a bit.
